I miei studi e le mie pubblicazioni si articolano tra teoria della conoscenza, fenomenologia e psicoanalisi. My studies and my publications are divided between theory of knowledge, phenomenology and psychoanalysis. In particolare ho esaminato, in una prospettiva fenomenologica, la relazione tra contesto della scoperta e quello della giustificazione nell'ambito della conoscenza matematica a partire dalle ricerche di Gian-Carlo Rota. In particular I have examined, in a phenomenological perspective, the relationship between context of discovery and the context of justification of mathematical knowledge from research by Gian-Carlo Rota. Questo ambito di studi mi ha condotto ad approfondire il problema della relazione tra soggetto e scienza esaminando l'evoluzione storica del dibattito inerente lo statuto epistemologico della psicoanalisi nei paesi di lingua inglese. This field of study has led me to look into the problem of the relationship between subject and science by examining the historical evolution of the debate concerning the epistemological status of psychoanalysis in the English-speaking countries. In seguito ho affrontato il rovescio della questione studiando, in prospettiva psicoanalitica, alcuni aspetti della genesi del sapere scientifico con particolare riguardo alla riflessione di Jacques Lacan. Sono intervenuto ad alcuni convegni internazionali dedicati alle ricerche di Gaston Bachelard (Rende, 2003), Rota (Potenza, 1999, Milano, 2009 e Lille, 2009) e Lacan (Milano, 2001, La Habana, 2009 e Roma, 2010). Ho collaborato dal 1999 al 2004 con la Societą Psicoanalitica Italiana (sezione italiana dell'IPA) e sono, dal 2001, docente dell'ICLeS (Istituto per la Clinica dei Legami Sociali).
